The 1977 Lok Sabha (Parliament) election in Bihar was held to elect Members of Parliament (MPs) from 54 parliamentary constituencies in the state. Bharatiya Lok Dal emerged as the leading party, winning 52 seats. All India Jharkhand Party came second with 1 seats.

A total of 34,996,402 electors were registered to vote across the state. Of these, 21,264,278 votes were polled, resulting in an overall voter turnout of 60.8%. The average victory margin across all constituencies was 166,023 votes, with the closest contest decided by just 34,883 votes and the largest margin reaching 424,545 votes.

How Lok Sabha Elections Work in Bihar
